August 16th Announcement

Re: Announcement of a new level of leadership/changes to training

In recent weeks we have evaluated a couple of roles within our restaurants. We have seen how beneficial the trainers’ role is in supporting the Team Leaders and Directors on any given shift. We have also identified that while our training is very effective, it is also inefficient. In an effort to be more intentional and efficient in our training we have identified the need to make changes to our training program which also allows us to refocus support roles in our restaurant.

Please read this in its entirety to understand the changes, new opportunities and how they might affect you.

In anticipation of our first new team members going through a new training process beginning October 1st, we will be making these changes over the coming weeks.

Our current trainers provide great support for our team leaders and directors through their knowledge, experience, and servant’s spirit on each shift. To reflect this role change and focus, we will be changing our current trainers’ title to “Team Support Specialist”. Team Support Specialists are individuals who have a certain level of knowledge (through pathway) and are cross-trained (front and back of house). These Team Support Specialists will wear the blue polo shirts (current trainer shirts) and will start at $15.00/hr. Current trainers will keep their current pay and shirts and have until December 31, 2022 to be cross-trained to become a Team Support Specialist. Current team members who would to become a Team Support Specialist will express interest via this link www.cfaparkercounty.com/tss . The site is password protected and the password is “Care”. We will assume that current trainers will want to be Team Support Specialist and therefore if you are a trainer you do not need to express interest for this. You will be scheduled to become cross-trained over the next few months.

We will have a new level of leadership called “Team Experience Leader”. At this time, there will be 7 available positions. As our business grows, this number will grow as well. These team experience leaders will lead our entire training program including new team members and coaching/re-training of existing team members. They will train team members at both restaurants in both the front and back of house. The responsibilities, requirements, characteristics, and expectations of those leaders is detailed below. Colleen Tillson (current Weatherford Training Director) will lead this group with assistance from Kiana Dresser. If you are interested in applying for this role (open to anyone), please read over the requirements, responsibilities, and characteristics. If you meet these and would like to apply www.cfaparkercounty.com/teamexperience . The site is password protected and the password is “Care”. Deadline to apply 11:59pm August 31, 2022.

Thank you for helping us work through these changes over the coming weeks. We are excited for the impact that this will have on our guests, new team members, and existing team members.

Take Care,
Philip
