Menu/POS (Register) Changes Coming Monday

There will be a few changes to the register and CFA app beginning next Monday, June 12th. This is a chain-wide change/rollout.

The "Menu Customizations" Rollout will launch on June 12 alongside the Summer Promotion, which brings back the peach shake and white peach sunjoy.

The overall goal of Menu Customizations is to find the right level of customization by managing the tension between saying “yes” to the Customer with the complexity and capacity of Restaurants. Customers increasingly want (and expect) to be able to customize their meals. With this rollout, the aim is to strike a balance between the right level of customization for the Customer, operational ease for the Team Member and profitability for the restaurant.

The idea is that with the upcoming changes, guests and team members will have the same customization features for items which removes guessing what they meant in the special instructions box. While additional customization options will be added for guests on their app, the special instructions box will be removed.

The graphic below shows the upcoming changes to specific products.

The left column are those changes that will now be able to be made on the register and the app. Buttons will be available for these modifications.

The middle column has items that are optional for us to offer. The ones not marked out are the ones we will offer.

The right column is a list of items that are no longer approved for sale or modification. Chick-fil-A is not allowing these items to sold for a variety of reasons including complexity, equipment capacity, lack of sales, and profitability. We will not be able to sell these items beginning Monday.

2% Milk

Extra Chicken on Salads

Adding Bacon to Mac & Cheese
